Gregg Keizer: After years of intense research, forward thinkers at Microsoft labs have developed a mail client that lets you read and write email messages from almost anywhere in the world, simply by connecting to the Internet.

Because the mail client connects to mail servers via the web, it is widely expected that Microsoft will call the generic version of this wondrous new technology a “webmail client.”

As it is will initially be available only for Microsoft’s Office Live service insiders report that it will probably be trademarked as Office Live Mail.
