Staff: Vlad Mazek makes no bones about it… He’s a sharp-eyed Microsoft evangelist who blasts the home team when it deserves it and uses Linux when it suits his purposes.
And Vlad’s always ready to share a sharply targeted opinion.
So you’re probably wondering what Vlad thinks of that new MacBook Pro… or not.
In summary, not much. After a non-stop rant regarding the technical skills of Apple users, Vlad ascribes the following buying process to adult Mac users:
Daddy: But Jimmy, why do you want a Mac? Jimmy: Because its shiny and plays mp3’s.Daddy: But Jimmy, it won’t play with your other toys (software) and costs almost twice as much! Jimmy: I want it, I want it, I want it!
Daddy: But Jimmy, it has a 4x DVD drive, that technology is ancient! Jimmy: I want it, they call it SuperDrive, it must be better.
Daddy: But Jimmy, you can buy that same computer with an OS thats more than a flashy clipboard! Jimmy: But daddy, I’m 8! I saw the commercial, the person in the commercial was hip! Commercials don’t lie.
The MacBook Pro, Vlad says, is a case-in-point, yet, “One thing that Mac users can’t explain is how they can be so right yet remain on the edge of obscurity for nearly two decades and have a digital walkman as their only claim to fame … Suckers”
Before you get too fired up, you may want to read what Vlad thinks of his own team:

Now you know why we call him Vladfire. This guy takes no prisoners.
