trimMail Virus File: MIMAIL.R

MIMAIL.R is delivered as an executable attachment. Set trimMail Inbox's exclusive PolySieve content filtering system to

• Delete messages harbouring MIMAIL.R in attachments outright;
• Delete or rename attachments by file extension, or;
• Delete the MIMAIL.R messages and rename executable attachments.

Renaming attachments prevents users from simply double-clicking to activate a file. Instead, they must first save it to disk, then rename it. While renaming works for many files, certain Microsoft files may still be activated by double-clicking. You would be wise to strip incoming Microsoft files.
